About The Writers

SASCHA MOORE

Sascha is a London-based playwright and current student of MA Playwriting and Screenwriting at City University of London. Credits include TRASHED (Underbelly, Edinburgh 2017) and The (Accidental) Execution of Alan Bishop (Pleasance, London 2014). She has attended writing courses at the Bush Theatre, National Theatre, RADA and was offered a Soho Young Company place in 2015.

TOM GLOVER

Tom Glover trained at Hull University and on David Edgar’s Playwriting course at Birmingham University. His plays include: Born to Be Mild (Mill Studio, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford), A Stevie Wonder Related Incident (Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter), ‘England Expects’ (Kings Head London), ‘Wet Bread’ (Tristan Bates/Kings Head), ‘Beneath the Blue Rinse’ (Old Fire Station, Oxford. Everyman Studio, Cheltenham) and ‘Bin and Gone’ (Brighton Fringe and tour). He was the joint winner of the BBC Trans-Comedy award and has had three sitcoms optioned by the BBC. His short film, ‘Textual Relationship’ won national and international awards and in 2018 he was a winner of the BAFTA/Rocliffe sitcom competition and currently has a script in development with HatTrick.

LILY SHAHMOON

Lily is a recent graduate and writer. Her first play, WHEN THE BANG COMES, played in March 2018 at King’s College London, and she is currently writing her first novel.

LAURA HARPER

Laura has had work performed at Southwark Playhouse, Bread & Roses Theatre, The Royal Exchange Studio, 53Two, Tristan Bates and The Dukes Theatre, Lancaster. She has won multiple awards for new writing, and her short screenplay ‘Sit’ has just been selected by Elicit Pictures, following an international talent search.

HARRY TER HAAR

Harry studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy and then attended the Royal Court Young writers’ program. He has written and produced numerous short films, sit-com pilots and plays. His first short film ‘Harry, Henry and the Prostitute’ stars Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Fearne Cotton. Harry also acts in his work and last year he wrote, produced and acted in three comedy plays on the London fridge, one of which was highly commended at the LOST One Act Festival. Harry is currently represented by Simon Sharkey and Co and is producing and acting in a series of short films and plays he has written. He also is writing a feature film inspired by one of these shorts.

TIM FRASER

Tim graduated from the National Film & Television School in 2017 with an MA in Screenwriting. He is part of BAFTA Crew Film + TV 2018. His animated short HOMEGROWN, co-written with director Quentin Haberham at the NFTS, took home the Special Jury Prize at BendFilm Festival (USA) and won Best Short Animation at Olympia Film Festival (Greece), and was selected for Encounters and Edinburgh Film Festivals in 2017, among others. Also in 2017, Tim’s TV pilot script, THE SHADOWS, was long-listed for the BBC Writersroom Drama Script Room. This year, he has worked for showrunner Dominic Minghella (DOC MARTIN, ROBIN HOOD) as a Writers’ Assistant in the writers’ room for the second series of History Channel’s KNIGHTFALL. He has also previously worked as a Writers’ Assistant on Holly Philips’ new young adult show THE ATHENA for Sky TV. He currently has three short films in pre-production, including an adaptation of CANDY with producer Lucy Sneddon and LAFTA winning director Jonny Ruff. Another, PLOT TWIST, is an animation directed by Rodrigo Costa, from Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic. It is also in early production as a feature film, for which Tim is attached to develop the story.
